How To Play Australian Patience

  • Australian Patience has seven columns on the tableau with each one containing four cards each.
  • The columns build down in suit, for example K, Q, J, 10
  • The four foundations build up in suit beginning with Ace and finishing with a King, for example A♣, 2♣, 3♣
  • Only one card is turned up from the stock at a time and this card can be played onto the tableau or the foundations.
  • Only one pass through the deck is allowed.
  • The aim is to build all the cards by suit onto the four foundation piles.
  • The moves are similar to Scorpion Solitaire, building down in suit and moving any column of cards whose top card fits with the sequence it is moved to.
